Before we left Temple, we jumped at the chance to have my friend Lori Barnidge take some more pictures of Drew. She took the beautiful pictures we used on Drew's birth announcements, and I really wanted to get one more set of Drew before our move. She is a wonderful "on location" photographer, so Andrew and I decided that Lake Belton would be the perfect backdrop for preserving some of our final Temple memories. We fell in love with life in Temple out at that lake. We'd take Kobe for walks along the very trail where the pictures were made. We took picnics at the lake, swam at the lake park, Kobe learned to swim in that lake, and eventually brought the boat up from Austin to hang out on the lake with Adam & Heather. So many fun memories. So, it was the end to a great era to take our son there and have Lori capture the moment. Drew was SO sleepy during picture time, and he was facinated by the lake. So, there aren't many pictures with Drew's traditional ear-to-ear grin that he usually wears. But, Lori worked her magic and we have some really wonderful pictures to show for it. She let me borrow some from her blog so I could let you see. Thanks Lori!! We'll miss you!!
